About the Role

Our client, a well-respected beauty salon and spa in Sheffield , is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Senior Beauty Therapist & Skincare Advisor . This role combines hands-on treatment delivery with expert consultation and product recommendation, focusing on advanced skincare solutions. You will be instrumental in guiding clients towards achieving their skin health goals, utilizing your expertise in a variety of treatments and product lines. This position offers the chance to lead by example, mentor junior staff, and contribute significantly to the salon's reputation for excellence in beauty and wellness.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced beauty treatments, including specialized facials, chemical peels, and micro-needling.
• Provide expert consultations to assess client skin conditions and recommend tailored treatment and homecare plans.
• Educate clients on skincare principles, product ingredients, and the benefits of various treatments.
• Manage and maintain stock levels for skincare products, ensuring availability and proper storage.
• Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service and client care.
• Train and mentor junior beauty therapists on advanced techniques and skincare advisory skills.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Beauty Therapy.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Beauty Therapist, with a strong focus on advanced skincare.
• In-depth knowledge of dermatological principles, various skin types, and common skin concerns.
• Proven experience in product recommendation and sales within the beauty industry.
• Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities and a passion for client education.
