About the Role
Our client seeks a dedicated and experienced Senior BIM Coordinator to join their thriving architectural practice in Manchester . This role is critical for ensuring the effective implementation and management of Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes on a variety of exciting projects. You will be responsible for the coordination of BIM models, clash detection, and ensuring data integrity throughout the project lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual to contribute significantly to the technical excellence and efficiency of project delivery within a supportive and innovative team environment located in Greater Manchester .
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage BIM models from various disciplines, ensuring seamless integration and clash detection.
- Implement and enforce BIM standards, protocols, and best practices on assigned projects.
- Conduct regular model audits, quality checks, and reporting on BIM progress and issues.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members regarding BIM workflows and requirements.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams on BIM software and processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a BIM Coordinator or in a similar BIM-focused role.
- Strong proficiency in Revit , Navisworks, and Solibri or similar clash detection software.
- Thorough understanding of BIM standards, Level 2 BIM requirements, and UK building regulations.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Experience in architectural design or construction coordination is advantageous.
