Senior Bioanalytical Scientist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Bioanalytical Scientist to enhance their cutting-edge research and development capabilities in Leeds . This role is integral to supporting preclinical and clinical studies by developing and validating robust bioanalytical methods for the quantification of small molecules and biologics in biological matrices. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic data, directly impacting drug development decisions. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and validate bioanalytical methods (e.g., LC-MS/MS, ELISA) for drug and metabolite quantification in biological fluids.
• Execute bioanalytical studies according to regulatory guidelines (GLP) and project timelines.
• Analyze and interpret complex bioanalytical data, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and resolve method-related issues to ensure assay performance.
• Contribute to study design, sample analysis planning, and reporting of bioanalytical results to project teams.

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in bioanalytical method development and validation.
• Strong expertise in LC-MS/MS and/or immunoassay techniques.
• Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) regulations.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, critical for reliable data generation in Leeds .
