About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Blockchain Architect to join their team in Sheffield . This role is crucial for designing and overseeing the implementation of scalable and secure blockchain solutions that align with business objectives. You will provide technical leadership, define architectural standards, and guide development teams through the complexities of blockchain technology. Working in a hybrid model, you will collaborate with stakeholders to drive innovation and deliver robust distributed ledger solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and document comprehensive blockchain architectures for various use cases.
• Evaluate and select appropriate blockchain platforms, consensus mechanisms, and related technologies.
• Develop technical strategies and roadmaps for blockchain implementation projects.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to blockchain development teams.
• Ensure blockchain solutions meet requirements for security, performance, scalability, and interoperability.
• Collaborate with business analysts and product managers to translate requirements into technical designs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software architecture, with a significant focus on blockchain technology .
• Proven track record of designing and delivering enterprise-level blockchain solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of various blockchain frameworks (e.g., Hyperledger Fabric, Ethereum) and protocols.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, cryptography, and network security.
• Experience with smart contract development and integration is a plus.
