About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Blockchain Architect to join their innovative team in Norwich, Norfolk, UK . This role is critical for shaping the strategic direction and technical design of our client's blockchain initiatives within the rapidly advancing Crypto & Blockchain sector. You will lead the architecture of complex decentralized systems, ensuring they are secure, performant, and scalable. The ideal candidate possesses deep technical knowledge combined with strong leadership qualities, driving the adoption of cutting-edge blockchain technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and document high-level and low-level architectures for blockchain solutions.
• Evaluate and select appropriate blockchain platforms, consensus algorithms, and DLTs.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to blockchain development teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical designs.
• Define standards for smart contract development, security, and integration with existing systems.
• Research and champion the adoption of new blockchain technologies and best practices.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in systems architecture, with a substantial focus on blockchain technology and distributed ledger technologies (DLT).
• Deep understanding of various blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, Corda) and their underlying principles.
• Expertise in designing and implementing secure smart contracts and decentralized applications (dApps).
• Strong knowledge of cryptography , network protocols, and distributed systems security.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration with blockchain.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences in Norwich .
