About the Role

Our client is seeking a vigilant and analytical Senior Blockchain Security Analyst to join their team, working remotely with occasional collaboration needs potentially aligning with Sunderland, Tyne and Wear . This role is critical for safeguarding our blockchain infrastructure and digital assets from evolving threats. You will be responsible for conducting in-depth security assessments, identifying vulnerabilities in smart contracts and protocols, and developing strategies to mitigate risks. The ideal candidate possesses a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, and a passion for ensuring the integrity and safety of crypto and blockchain systems. You will play a vital role in maintaining trust and security within our decentralized ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive security audits of smart contracts , dApps, and blockchain protocols.
• Identify, analyze, and report vulnerabilities, including reentrancy attacks, integer overflows, and access control issues.
• Develop and implement security best practices and guidelines for blockchain development.
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for new and existing blockchain projects.
• Stay abreast of the latest security threats and trends in the blockchain and crypto space.
• Respond to and investigate security incidents, providing timely resolution and post-mortem analysis.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cybersecurity, with a specialization in blockchain security or smart contract auditing.
• Strong understanding of common smart contract vulnerabilities and exploitation techniques.
• Proficiency in analyzing code written in languages like Solidity, Vyper, or Rust.
• Familiarity with security analysis tools and methodologies for blockchain systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically under pressure.
• Relevant security certifications (e.g., CEH, CISSP) are a plus.
