Senior Buyer - Indirect Spend

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Buyer to manage indirect spend categories for their organization, with the flexibility to work remotely. This role is key to ensuring the efficient and cost-effective procurement of non-operational goods and services, such as IT, marketing, travel, and facilities management. You will be responsible for developing sourcing strategies, conducting negotiations, managing supplier performance, and driving continuous improvement to deliver maximum value. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for indirect spend categories.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure optimal pricing, terms, and service levels.
• Manage end-to-end procurement processes for assigned categories.
• Monitor supplier performance and foster strong working relationships.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand needs and ensure alignment.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in indirect procurement.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Buyer or Procurement Specialist, with a focus on indirect spend.
• Strong negotiation, contract management, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively independently and manage tasks remotely.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Familiarity with procurement software and tools.
• Relevant procurement qualification (e.g., CIPS) is a plus.
