Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement processes for assigned categories, from sourcing to contract management.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve significant cost savings and improve supplier performance.
• Conduct detailed negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for innovation and supply chain optimization.
• Mentor and guide junior members of the procurement team.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a buyer or senior procurement role.
• Proven track record in strategic sourcing, negotiation, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Experience with procurement software and ERP systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for working collaboratively in our Wolverhampton office.
