About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Buyer to lead procurement efforts for critical product lines. Key Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing activities for assigned product categories, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Negotiate favourable terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve cost savings and improve service levels.
• Manage supplier relationships, conduct performance reviews, and drive collaborative improvements.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to mitigate risks and ensure supply continuity.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform sourcing decisions.
• Mentor junior members of the purchasing team and contribute to process enhancements.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Buyer or in a senior purchasing role.
• Proven success in negotiation, contract management, and strategic sourcing.
• Strong understanding of supply chain management and procurement best practices.
• Excellent analytical skills and proficiency with procurement software and ERP systems.
• Ability to manage complex projects and stakeholder expectations effectively in a remote environment.
• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.
