Job Description
Wetherby Home Care are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Senior Carer to join the exsisting Senior team. Weekend and evening availiblity required.
Regular duties include but are not limited to:
- Do Direct Observations as directed by the Management and provide accurate feedback
- Do Spot checks as directed by the Management and provide accurate feedback
- Do client calls as required.
- Do new client introductions as required
- Work alongside carers to improve their performance and provide feedback
- Assist in keeping Care Plans in the clients homes up to date and keeping the folders tidy and topped up
- Assist in the distribution of paperwork , medications , pads etc as required
- In conjunction with the Registered Manager and the Assistant Manager focus on a few targeted clients at a time to review and improve our service making it fully appropriate for the individual client.
- Regular shifts to be scheduled to suit WHC requirements and yourself. This will include some morning, evening and weekend working.
- You will be expected to be available to cover sickness, as a last resort, outside of your normal availability.
- You will be expected to participate in the on call rota as required.
- Other duties may be added from time to time as specified by the Registered Manager.
