This role is focused on exploring novel chemical processes, developing new product formulations, and scaling up laboratory discoveries to pilot and commercial levels. Key Responsibilities
- Lead R&D projects focused on developing new chemical synthesis pathways and process technologies.
- Design and execute laboratory experiments to evaluate new materials, catalysts, and process conditions.
- Perform scale-up studies, transitioning processes from laboratory bench to pilot plant scale.
- Analyze experimental data, interpret results, and generate comprehensive technical reports and recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including chemists, material scientists, and production engineers.
- Ensure all research activities adhere to safety, environmental, and intellectual property protocols.
Requirements
- Master's degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant R&D experience, including process development and scale-up.
- Proven track record in conceptualizing and executing novel chemical processes.
- Strong understanding of reaction engineering, separation processes, and process modeling.
- Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in laboratory techniques and instrumentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information effectively.
