Key Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptualization and detailed design of new chemical plants and process modifications.
• Perform advanced process calculations, including fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and reaction engineering.
• Develop and implement process safety management (PSM) programs and conduct hazard analyses (HAZOP).
• Oversee the technical aspects of project execution, ensuring designs are delivered on time and within budget.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams remotely.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Chemical Engineering .
• 10+ years of experience in the chemical or petrochemical industry, with a strong focus on process design.
• In-depth knowledge of process simulation software and thermodynamic packages.
• Proven track record in leading major capital projects from conception through to commissioning.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, particularly in a remote setting.
