Senior Chemical Engineer

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly skilled Senior Chemical Engineer to join their innovative and forward-thinking team. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of novel chemical processes from conceptualization through to commercialization.
• Conduct rigorous process simulations, P&ID development, and hazard and operability studies (HAZOP).
• Optimize existing chemical plants for improved efficiency, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, project management, and manufacturing, to ensure project success.
• Stay abreast of the latest technological advancements in chemical engineering and process intensification.

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.
• 8+ years of comprehensive experience in process design, scale-up, and project execution.
• Expertise in process simulation software and advanced modeling techniques.
• In-depth knowledge of reaction engineering, separation processes, and process control.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects and manage stakeholder expectations in a remote setting.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving capabilities.
