About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of new chemical processes and modifications to existing ones.
- Conduct detailed process simulations, feasibility studies, and hazard analyses to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Oversee pilot plant operations and scale-up activities from laboratory to commercial production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, operations, and maintenance to troubleshoot and resolve process issues.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on best practices in chemical process engineering.
- Ensure all designs and operations comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in the chemical industry, with a strong focus on process design and optimisation.
- Proven experience with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS) and data analysis tools.
- Demonstrated understanding of chemical thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and reaction kinetics.
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
