Senior Chemical Process Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refine chemical process designs, including P&IDs, mass and energy balances, and equipment specifications.
• Conduct process simulations and modeling to predict performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize operational efficiency.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for existing processes, implementing solutions to enhance yield, reduce waste, and improve safety.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and project management, via virtual communication channels.
• Ensure all process designs comply with relevant industry standards, environmental regulations, and company safety policies.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, feasibility studies, and project proposals for review and approval.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in chemical process design and development.
• Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS) and data analysis tools.
• Demonstrated experience in leading process optimization projects and scale-up initiatives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, crucial for effective remote collaboration.
