Senior Chemical Process Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize chemical processes for efficiency, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Conduct process simulations, feasibility studies, and pilot plant trials to validate new concepts and technologies.
• Troubleshoot complex operational issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and project management, in a virtual setting.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, specifications, and process documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on process design and troubleshooting best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in chemical process design, development, and optimization.
• Proven expertise in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS) and data analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of process safety management (PSM) principles and hazard analysis techniques (HAZOP).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote team environment .
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
