Senior Civil Design Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Civil Design Manager to lead their design division. This role operates on a hybrid model, offering flexibility while ensuring strong leadership presence within the office. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire civil design process, managing design teams, ensuring the quality and efficiency of designs, and coordinating with project management and construction teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex projects, strong leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of civil engineering principles and best practices. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of civil design engineers and technicians.
• Oversee the development and execution of civil design projects from concept to completion.
• Ensure designs are compliant with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Manage design budgets, schedules, and resource allocation effectively.
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to ensure project alignment.
• Implement and improve design processes, standards, and quality control procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Extensive experience (10+ years) in civil engineering design, with a significant portion in a management or leadership role.
• Proven experience managing large-scale civil infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of various civil engineering disciplines, including site development, transportation, and utilities.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and CAD platforms .
