Senior Civil Engineer - Infrastructure Projects

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the design and development of major civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, and utilities.
• Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments for new developments.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building regulations, health and safety legislation, and environmental standards.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff and project teams.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, local authorities, and other stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.

Requirements

• A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline; Chartered Engineer (CEng) status is highly preferred.
• A minimum of 7 years' post-graduate experience in the design and management of infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record in delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Expert knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
• Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with UK planning regulations and environmental impact assessments.
