Senior Civil Engineer - Infrastructure Projects

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join their dynamic infrastructure team in the heart of London . You will play a pivotal role in the design, planning, and execution of significant civil engineering projects, contributing to the development of essential infrastructure within the city and surrounding regions. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of civil infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, drainage systems, and utilities.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and impact assessments to inform project viability and scope.
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and contract documentation using CAD and BIM software.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring successful and timely project delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of civil engineers and technicians.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, regulatory bodies, and construction teams, to ensure project objectives are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design and project management.
• Proven track record in delivering large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and ideally BIM tools .
• Strong understanding of UK building regulations, design standards, and environmental legislation.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) status is highly desirable.
