Senior Civil Engineer - Infrastructure Projects

About the Role

Our client seeks a seasoned Senior Civil Engineer with a focus on infrastructure projects to join their multidisciplinary team based in Bradford . This hybrid role requires a strategic thinker capable of leading design and development phases for a variety of civil engineering initiatives, from initial concept to project completion. You will play a key part in shaping the region's infrastructure, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest technical and environmental standards. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and planning of complex civil engineering infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and utilities.
• Oversee project execution, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards.
• Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and prepare detailed technical reports.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively, liaising with stakeholders and contractors.
• Mentor and guide junior engineering staff, fostering their professional development.
• Utilize advanced CAD and simulation software for design, analysis, and visualization.

Requirements

• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or equivalent professional qualification.
• A minimum of 7 years' post-graduate experience in civil engineering, with a strong portfolio of infrastructure projects.
• In-depth knowledge of structural design principles , geotechnics, and construction methods.
• Proficiency in civil engineering design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, BIM tools, and project management software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working within a hybrid environment, demonstrating strong self-management and collaboration capabilities.
