About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Civil Engineer to join their dynamic, fully remote team. This pivotal role will involve contributing to a wide range of challenging infrastructure projects, from conception through to completion. You will be instrumental in designing and overseeing the execution of critical engineering works, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of civil engineering projects, including structural analysis and site development.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents for various infrastructure projects.
• Conduct site investigations, surveys, and feasibility studies, translating findings into actionable engineering plans.
• Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards, while managing remote site visits when necessary.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies, fostering strong working relationships in a virtual setting.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff, promoting best practices and professional development within the team.

Requirements

• A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Proven experience as a Civil Engineer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating successful project delivery.
• Proficiency in relevant CAD software and engineering design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit).
• In-depth knowledge of UK building regulations, construction methods, and health and safety legislation.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills, with the ability to thrive in a remote work environment.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with a relevant professional body is highly desirable.
