Senior Civil Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of civil engineering projects, including roads, drainage systems, and site development.
• Conduct site investigations, surveys, and feasibility studies to assess project viability and identify potential challenges.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, specifications, and construction drawings in accordance with industry standards.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure timely and cost-efficient project completion.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure project requirements are met and approvals are obtained.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; professional engineering (PE) license is highly desirable.
• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design and project management.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and other relevant engineering design and analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of geotechnical engineering principles, hydrology, and structural design.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet demanding deadlines.
