About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Civil Engineer to join their dynamic team based in Leicester . This pivotal role involves leading and managing a variety of civil engineering projects, from conception through to completion, ensuring high standards of technical quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. You will play a crucial part in shaping the infrastructure of the region, contributing to innovative design solutions and overseeing project execution. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of civil engineering projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and prepare detailed technical reports and proposals.
- Oversee the work of junior engineers and technicians, providing guidance and mentorship.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental legislation.
- Collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, local authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Utilize advanced CAD software and engineering design tools for project planning and execution.
Requirements
- A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, with a minimum of 5 years' relevant professional experience.
- Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or eligibility for professional accreditation is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in project management, including risk assessment and financial control.
- Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering , structural analysis, and drainage systems .
- Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and project management tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
