About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join their dynamic team in Leicester . Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments for new projects.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents using CAD software.
- Manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of services.
- Supervise junior engineers and technicians, providing mentorship and technical guidance.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth project execution and stakeholder satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; professional chartered engineer status (e.g., MICE) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design and project management.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and structural analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of UK building regulations, planning policies, and environmental legislation.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage complex engineering projects from inception to handover.
