Senior Civil Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join their dynamic team in London . This role is pivotal in delivering complex infrastructure projects, from initial concept through to final completion. You will play a key role in the design, planning, and oversight of various civil engineering works, ensuring adherence to the highest industry standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of civil engineering projects, including site development, drainage, and transportation infrastructure.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents using CAD software and other relevant tools.
• Conduct site investigations, surveys, and feasibility studies to assess project viability and identify potential challenges.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively, ensuring project delivery on schedule and within financial constraints.
• Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of civil engineers and technicians.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is advantageous.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in civil engineering design and project management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D , PDS, or similar design software.
• In-depth knowledge of UK building regulations, planning policies, and environmental legislation.
• Strong understanding of structural analysis, geotechnical principles, and construction methods.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
