Key Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and adjust complex insurance claims, determining coverage and liability.
• Negotiate settlements with policyholders and third-party representatives in a fair and efficient manner.
• Conduct thorough reviews of policy documents, incident reports, and supporting evidence to make informed decisions.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive claim files, documenting all activities, communications, and decisions made.
• Provide clear and timely communication to all parties involved, managing expectations and resolving inquiries promptly.
• Mentor junior adjusters, offering guidance on complex case handling and best practices in claims management.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Claims Adjuster or similar role within the insurance industry.
• Strong understanding of insurance principles, policy interpretation, and claims handling procedures.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage sensitive conversations remotely.
• Proficiency in claims management software and standard office applications.
• Relevant professional certifications or qualifications in insurance or claims adjusting are highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage a caseload effectively from a remote location.
