About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and negotiate complex insurance claims, adhering strictly to policy terms and legal regulations.
• Conduct thorough assessments of damages and liability, gathering all necessary evidence and documentation.
• Communicate effectively and empathetically with claimants, policyholders, and third parties throughout the claims process.
• Manage a caseload of diverse and challenging claims, ensuring timely and accurate processing and settlement.
• Collaborate with legal counsel and other internal departments on claims requiring specialized input.
• Mentor junior adjusters and provide guidance on best practices and complex case resolution.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Claims Adjuster or in a similar insurance claims role.
• In-depth knowledge of insurance policies, relevant legislation, and claims handling procedures.
• Excellent analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage workload efficiently and prioritize effectively in a busy office environment.
• Relevant professional certifications or qualifications in insurance or claims management are highly desirable.
