About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and meticulous Senior Claims Adjuster to join their dynamic insurance team in Aberdeen . Key Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and settle moderately to highly complex insurance claims in accordance with policy provisions and company guidelines.
• Conduct thorough fact-finding, including interviews with claimants, witnesses, and relevant parties, and gather necessary documentation.
• Negotiate settlements with claimants and/or their representatives, ensuring fairness and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare detailed reports outlining claim investigations, findings, and recommended actions.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior adjusters, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date claim files, utilizing claims management software effectively.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Claims Adjuster , with a strong track record in handling complex claims.
• In-depth knowledge of insurance principles, relevant legislation, and claims handling procedures.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in using claims management systems and standard office software.
• Relevant professional qualifications or certifications in insurance are highly desirable.
