Senior Clinical Research Associate

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to join their growing clinical operations team in Brighton . This role is integral to the successful execution of clinical trials, ensuring adherence to protocols, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards. You will be responsible for site monitoring, data verification, and fostering strong relationships with investigators and site staff. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits according to study protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by reviewing source documents and electronic data capture (EDC) systems.
• Verify compliance with protocol, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with investigators, site staff, and study sponsors.
• Identify and resolve site-level issues, escalating critical matters as needed.
• Prepare and present monitoring reports, and ensure timely resolution of action items.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a life science, nursing, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate , with a strong understanding of GCP and regulatory guidelines.
• Proven experience in monitoring clinical trial sites and managing study documentation.
• Excellent understanding of clinical trial processes, from initiation to close-out.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel to clinical sites as required for monitoring activities in and around Brighton .
