About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Cloud Security Engineer to lead the design and implementation of secure cloud infrastructures. This is a fully remote role, crucial for protecting our client's digital assets within cloud environments like AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will be responsible for developing and enforcing cloud security best practices, automating security controls, and responding to cloud-native security incidents. This is a fantastic opportunity for a cloud security expert to drive innovation and maintain a robust security posture in a remote-first setting, working with a highly collaborative and distributed team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage security controls and architectures for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for security services and configurations.
- Implement and manage security monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions in the cloud.
- Automate security tasks and workflows using scripting and relevant cloud services.
- Conduct security reviews of cloud deployments, applications, and infrastructure.
- Respond to cloud security incidents, perform forensic analysis, and implement remediation measures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud security engineering , with a strong focus on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proficiency in cloud security best practices, IAM, network security, and data protection in cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates).
- Experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD security integration.
- Excellent scripting skills (Python, Bash) and experience with security automation tools.
