Senior Cloud Solutions Architect

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to join their forward-thinking technology team. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure solutions. You will collaborate with various technical teams to understand business requirements and translate them into robust cloud architectures, primarily leveraging AWS and/or Azure . This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned architect to lead critical cloud initiatives and shape the technological future of the organization in a fully remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Develop and implement cloud migration strategies for existing on-premises applications and infrastructure.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud best practices, including infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and security.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of cloud services.
• Optimize cloud resource utilization for cost efficiency and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect or similar role, with a strong portfolio of cloud projects.
• Deep understanding of cloud computing concepts and hands-on experience with major cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Proficiency in designing and implementing cloud-native architectures, microservices, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
