About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and imaginative Senior Concept Artist to join their creative team in Cambridge . This hybrid role involves working from home and collaborating in our studio, focusing on developing visually stunning concepts that define the look and feel of their projects. You will be responsible for creating original designs for characters, environments, props, and overall mood, translating ideas into compelling visual narratives. Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality concept art for characters, environments, props, vehicles, and mood pieces.
• Develop and iterate on visual designs based on project briefs and feedback from the art director.
• Explore different artistic styles and approaches to meet project requirements and push creative boundaries.
• Effectively communicate design ideas through sketches, illustrations, and detailed renderings.
• Collaborate closely with other artists, designers, and directors to ensure visual consistency and achieve project goals.
• Contribute to the overall artistic vision and direction of the project, bringing unique creative insights.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Concept Artist , with a strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of high-quality concept art.
• Proficiency in industry-standard digital painting software such as Photoshop, Procreate, or Corel Painter.
• A strong understanding of anatomy, perspective, composition, color theory, and lighting.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, demonstrating strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in designing for games, film, or animation is highly valued.
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to generate creative and innovative visual solutions.
