About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and develop compelling character designs, environments, and props for upcoming projects.
• Collaborate closely with directors, art directors, and other artists to ensure visual consistency and artistic integrity.
• Create detailed sketches, mood boards, and polished illustrations to communicate ideas effectively.
• Research and stay abreast of current trends in art, technology, and visual design within the entertainment industry.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior artists, fostering a culture of artistic excellence and shared learning.
• Iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project goals.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Concept Artist in the games or film industry.
• A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional skills in digital painting, character design, and environment art.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe Photoshop , 3D modeling software (e.g., ZBrush, Blender), and 3D painting tools (e.g., Substance Painter).
• Excellent understanding of anatomy, perspective, composition, colour theory, and lighting.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a studio setting.
