Our client seeks a highly skilled Senior Concept Artist to join their dynamic creative studio in Birmingham , specializing in innovative visual development for the Arts & Entertainment industry. You will be instrumental in visualizing characters, environments, and key props for upcoming projects, working at the forefront of visual storytelling. This role demands a blend of artistic talent, technical proficiency, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing significantly to the overall aesthetic and imaginative direction of our productions. Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality concept art for characters, environments, props, and key visual moments.
• Develop detailed visual designs that adhere to project briefs, artistic direction, and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with directors, writers, and other artists to iterate on designs and explore creative solutions.
• Contribute to establishing and maintaining the visual style and tone of projects.
• Mentor junior artists, providing constructive feedback and technical guidance.
• Present design concepts clearly and effectively to the wider team and stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Concept Artist in games, film, or animation.
• Exceptional artistic skills with a strong understanding of anatomy, perspective, composition, and colour theory.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Photoshop , Procreate, and ZBrush.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating a variety of styles and subject matter.
• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and adapt to evolving project needs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
