About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and imaginative Senior Concept Artist to join their vibrant art team in Wolverhampton . You will play a crucial role in defining the visual identity of new projects, translating ideas and themes into compelling artwork that guides the direction of the entire art department. Your ability to create diverse and inspiring visuals, from characters and environments to props and mood pieces, will be essential. Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality 2D concept art for characters, environments, props, and key art.
• Collaborate closely with art directors and designers to develop and refine the visual style and aesthetic of projects.
• Explore a variety of artistic styles and concepts to meet project requirements and push creative boundaries.
• Provide clear visual references and documentation for the 3D art and modeling teams.
• Mentor and guide junior concept artists, offering constructive feedback and sharing knowledge.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Concept Artist in the game or entertainment industry.
• Exceptional skills in digital painting and illustration, with a strong understanding of form, color, light, and composition.
• Proficiency with industry-standard software such as Adobe Photoshop.
• Ability to adapt to different artistic styles and briefs.
• A strong portfolio showcasing a range of concept art for characters, environments, and props.
