About the Role

Our client is seeking a visionary Senior Concept Artist to join their dynamic creative team in Coventry . You will play a crucial role in defining the visual style and aesthetic direction for our exciting new projects, bringing imaginative worlds, characters, and environments to life through stunning artwork. Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality concept art, including character designs, environment art, prop designs, and mood pieces.
• Collaborate with art directors and game designers to iterate on visual concepts and explore diverse artistic directions.
• Develop detailed sketches, paintings, and digital illustrations that effectively communicate ideas and mood.
• Contribute to the overall visual development pipeline, ensuring consistency and quality across all artistic assets.
• Provide art direction and mentorship to junior concept artists, fostering a collaborative and creative environment.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Concept Artist in the entertainment industry, with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in digital painting and illustration.
• Expertise in industry-standard art software such as Adobe Photoshop, Procreate, or similar tools.
• A strong understanding of anatomy, perspective, color theory, composition, and lighting.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, both in-person and remotely.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret written and verbal concepts and translate them into compelling visual designs.
