Senior Corporate Lawyer

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Corporate Lawyer to join their dynamic legal team based in the heart of London . This pivotal role involves advising on a wide range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate governance, and general commercial matters. You will play a crucial part in managing complex legal projects, providing strategic advice to senior management, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex corporate transactions, including due diligence, drafting, and negotiation of agreements.
• Provide expert legal advice on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory matters across various jurisdictions.
• Draft, review, and advise on a variety of commercial contracts and legal documents.
• Manage relationships with external counsel and other stakeholders involved in legal projects.
• Mentor and guide junior lawyers and legal assistants within the team.
• Stay abreast of legal and regulatory developments affecting the company and its business operations.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor or barrister with a minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience in corporate law.
• Proven track record of managing complex M&A transactions and significant corporate restructurings.
• In-depth knowledge of UK corporate law, the Companies Act, and related regulations.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a demanding, fast-paced setting.
• Experience with international transactions is a plus.
