Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, disposals, and restructurings.
- Provide expert legal advice on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory matters to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements and legal documents.
- Conduct thorough legal due diligence for transactions and provide comprehensive reports.
- Mentor and guide junior lawyers and paralegals within the team.
- Liaise effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
- A qualified solicitor or barrister with significant post-qualification experience (minimum 7 years).
- Proven track record in handling high-value corporate and commercial transactions.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Strong understanding of corporate law, company secretarial practices, and relevant UK regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Membership in the Law Society or Bar Council in good standing.
