Senior Cybersecurity Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events from various security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR) to detect and respond to threats.

• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines to enhance the organisation's security posture.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security weaknesses.
• Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of system design and deployment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity operations or analysis.
• Proficiency in using SIEM tools, threat intelligence platforms, and endpoint security solutions.
• Strong understanding of network security principles, protocols, and common attack vectors.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
