About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to bolster their security operations in Brighton . You will analyze security incidents, implement defensive measures, and contribute to the development and refinement of security policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events, performing thorough investigations of potential breaches and incidents.

• Respond to security incidents, coordinating containment, eradication, and recovery efforts.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on threat analysis and incident response.
• Proficiency with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and common attack vectors.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or CEH are highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
