Senior Data Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Data Analyst to join their business intelligence team in Reading . This role will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing large datasets to identify trends, insights, and actionable recommendations that drive business decisions. You will work closely with various departments, including marketing, sales, and operations, to understand their data needs and deliver impactful reports and dashboards. The ideal candidate possesses strong statistical knowledge, proficiency in data analysis tools, and excellent communication skills to present complex findings in a clear and concise manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and transform data from various sources for analysis.
• Develop and maintain complex reports and interactive dashboards using business intelligence tools.
• Perform in-depth data analysis to identify key performance indicators, trends, and patterns.
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to ensure data integrity and improve data infrastructure.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging data analysis techniques.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis or a related field.
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis methods and their application.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with large, complex datasets.
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
