About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and insightful Senior Data Analyst to join their expanding analytics team, operating within a remote-first framework. This critical role involves extracting, transforming, and analysing complex datasets to provide actionable business insights. You will work closely with various departments, including marketing, product, and operations, to identify trends, forecast performance, and support data-driven decision-making. If you possess a strong analytical mindset, exceptional technical skills, and a passion for uncovering the stories within data, this is an exciting opportunity to drive strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify key trends, patterns, and correlations that inform business strategy.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to communicate findings effectively.
- Design and execute A/B tests and other experiments to measure the impact of new initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to understand their data needs and provide tailored analytical solutions.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the development of best practices in data analysis and interpretation.
Requirements
- Significant professional experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, with a proven track record in data interpretation and insights generation.
- Expertise in SQL for data extraction and manipulation, and proficiency in at least one statistical programming language (e.g., Python, R).
- Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
- Strong understanding of statistical concepts and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
