About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join their fully remote data team. You will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines and infrastructure that support analytics and business intelligence initiatives. This role involves working with large-scale datasets, implementing data warehousing solutions, and ensuring data quality and accessibility. Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize scalable and reliable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Develop and manage data warehouse solutions, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Implement data quality frameworks and monitoring systems to ensure the reliability of data assets.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data needs and provide necessary data structures.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval performance for analytical workloads.
• Maintain and enhance existing data infrastructure, ensuring its stability and performance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data engineering, such as Python or Scala.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and tools (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
