Senior Data Scientist - Bioinformatics

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced analytical methods and machine learning models for complex biological datasets.

• Visualize and communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences through clear reports and presentations.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in bioinformatics or data science, with a focus on biological data.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with relevant libraries (e.g., Pandas, Scikit-learn, Bioconductor).
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning techniques, and experimental design.
• Experience with high-performance computing environments and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP).
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.
