Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain robust data pipelines for processing and analyzing genomic information, ensuring data integrity and reproducibility.
• Collaborate closely with genomics researchers and bioinformaticians to define analytical objectives and interpret results.
• Communicate complex findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development of novel tools and platforms for genomic data analysis and visualization in a remote setting.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data science, with a strong focus on genomics or related biological data.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with relevant libraries (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow).
• Solid understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and experimental design principles.
• Experience with genomic data formats (e.g., VCF, BAM, FASTQ) and relevant analysis tools is highly desirable.
