Senior Data Scientist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems.
• Extract, clean, and transform large, disparate datasets from various sources for analysis and model building.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Develop and deploy predictive models, ensuring their accuracy, robustness, and scalability.
• Communicate complex findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders through visualizations and reports.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science , machine learning, and AI, and evaluate their potential application.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in data science or a closely related analytical role.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data science, such as Python or R, and relevant libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow).
• Extensive experience with SQL and working with large datasets, databases, and data warehousing concepts.
• Proven experience in applying machine learning techniques (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, deep learning) to real-world problems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a passion for uncovering data-driven insights.
