Key Responsibilities
- Operate a delivery vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Plan and execute daily delivery routes to optimize time and fuel consumption within London .
- Load and unload packages carefully, ensuring goods are protected and delivered in pristine condition.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, acting as a professional point of contact.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain necessary signatures upon completion.
Requirements
- A valid UK driving license with a clean driving record (Category B or equivalent).
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably within a busy urban environment like London .
- Excellent knowledge of London 's streets, traffic patterns, and navigation techniques.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 25kg.
- Professional demeanor and excellent customer interaction skills.
