Key Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles for the timely and safe delivery of goods to designated locations across the Leicester area and surrounding regions.
• Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure maximum efficiency and adherence to strict schedules.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks, including maintenance and cleanliness, reporting any defects or issues promptly.
• Load and unload goods securely, ensuring proper handling and prevention of damage.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, handling any customer queries or issues professionally.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and logs, including proof of delivery documentation.

Requirements

• Full, clean UK driving license (Category B minimum) with a proven safe driving record.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a professional delivery driver role, preferably within a logistics or distribution setting.
• Excellent knowledge of the Leicester road network and surrounding areas.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
• Good physical condition to handle loading and unloading of goods.
• Professional and courteous demeanour, with strong communication skills.
