About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dependable Senior Delivery Driver to join their logistics team in Aberdeen . As a senior member of the team, you will also be expected to provide guidance to newer drivers and contribute to operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Execute daily delivery schedules efficiently and punctually across the Aberdeen area and surrounding regions.
• Ensure all goods are handled with care, loaded securely, and delivered in pristine condition.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs promptly.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, proof of delivery signatures, and any required documentation.
• Assist with warehouse duties, including loading and unloading of vehicles, as needed.
• Mentor and support junior delivery personnel, sharing best practices in driving and customer interaction.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence with a clean record (Category B entitlement minimum).
• Proven experience as a delivery driver, ideally with at least 3 years in a senior or lead capacity.
• Excellent knowledge of Aberdeen and surrounding road networks.
• Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 25kg.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to meeting delivery targets.
