About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic and fully remote team. This role is crucial for enhancing and maintaining our client's cloud infrastructure, automating deployment pipelines, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of their services. You will be instrumental in bridging the gap between development and operations, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Working remotely, you will have the autonomy to manage your workload while contributing to a highly collaborative and innovative engineering culture, supporting teams across different time zones.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment and infrastructure provisioning.
- Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues proactively, and implement solutions to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency.
- Champion best practices in automation, security, and operational excellence throughout the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline workflows and improve overall system reliability.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role with a focus on automation and cloud infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell) and IaC tools.
- Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Solid knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for a remote work environment.
